Terms of Use
Terms for using Elodie and Elodie Plus.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Elodie offers personal reflection through affirmations you can keep, edit or remove. Generated words can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Choose what fits you.
Not medical advice
Elodie does not provide medical or mental-health care, diagnosis or treatment, and does not guarantee personal outcomes. If you need professional support, contact an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service.
Screen Time access
Elodie uses Apple Screen Time frameworks for apps you select. “Continue” releases all Elodie protection for the remainder of the configured daily window. You can pause, disable or release protection from Elodie at any time. Operating-system behavior may vary by supported iOS version.
Subscriptions
Subscription prices, periods and any eligible introductory terms come from Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
Saved and written words remain available if a subscription ends. Paid generation and protection require a currently verified entitlement.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with other users, or submit unlawful content. We may limit or stop service access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
Availability
We work to keep Elodie available and to fail open when protection cannot be verified, but no software service is uninterrupted or error-free. Keep Apple’s own Screen Time settings available as an independent recovery route.
License
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
